Larry Weiner

Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania where he was an accounting major, maintained minors in finance and insurance, and was admitted as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Business Fraternity. He also graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was an editor of The Law Review. Upon graduation, Larry became an Associate Member of a major Philadelphia law firm and at the same time taught accounting at the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce and taught accounting and business law at the Philadelphia Community College.

Although Larry continues to be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, since 1971 he has been engaged in full-time practice in the Miami, Florida area specializing in the following areas: Wills, Trusts, and Estate Administration; Estate Planning; Business Entities including Corporations, Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, and Limited Partnerships; Tax Planning; Business Contracts and Transactions, including Business Acquisitions and Mergers; and Real Estate. During that time, Larry has served as chairman or member of various Florida and Dade County Bar Association committees and has been a lecturer to non-lawyer groups. He has also served as a member of the University of Miami Citizens Board and has been active in other charitable organizations. Larry is married to attorney Jane M. Weiner, a retired attorney, and they have one daughter and one grandchild. Larry regularly participates in sports activities, primarily basketball, and has been a season ticket holder of the Miami Marlins, Florida Panthers and University of Miami football teams.
